Jonesborough Senior Center scheduled to reopen Oct. 14

The Jonesborough Senior Center is set to reopen starting next Wednesday.

The senior center announced they will operate Monday through Friday from 8 a.m to 4 p.m, while the fitness center will open by appointment only between 8 a.m-12 p.m and 1 p.m-4 p.m, with 45 minute intervals of available use. A temperature screening and a series of questions will be asked to those coming to the center prior to their entry.

The center asks individuals who have had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and other possible symptoms related to COVID-19 within the last 48 hours refrain from coming to the facility until those have been cleared up.
