Bristol Virginia Man Arrested For Robbery…Uses Machete Style Knife

Bristol Virginia Police, with assistance from the United States Marshall’s Office have located and arrested a Bristol man for allegedly robbing another individual with a machete style knife. 31 year old Bobby L. Lawhorne was found staying in Eastridge Apartments on Portsmouth Avenue. Lawhorne left in a vehicle with two females inside. Authorities conducted a high risk traffic stop and took Lawhorne into custody. Lawhorne was in possession of a sawed off .22 caliber rifle, a BB gun that resembled a real firearm, multiple knives and counterfeit money. One of the females in Lawhorne’s vehicle was identified as 30 year old Katherine Fugate of Bristol. She was charged with possession of a sizeable amount of methamphetamine, LSD, marijuana and various pills. Both suspects are being held in the Bristol, Virginia Jail without bond.
