East Tennessee State University…Fairs Better Than Most During COVID-19 Pandemic
East Tennessee State University apparently has weathered the storm of the COVID-19 pandemic at least to this point in time. Friday ETSU President Dr. Brian Nolan delivered an unusual State of the University Address in an empty auditorium. Nolan says East Tennessee State University, through hard work faired much better than other state universities.Nolan went on to say the University is a more diverse campus, although somewhat smaller in size, due to the pandemic. Nolan says ETSU is focused on the future and that COVID-19 is a predictor of things to come…and pointed to a drop in enrollment at the state’s community colleges which is a major pipeline for enrollment for ETSU.
