SCSO: Man found dead behind home Sunday in Bluff City, circumstances under investigation

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man found behind a home in Bluff City on Sunday afternoon.

A news release from Sheriff Jeff Cassidy says deputies received a call about the deceased individual just before 3:30 p.m yesterday at a home in the Hickory Tree community. His body is being sent for an autopsy and the circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.
