Northam Concerned About Southwest Virginia’s COVID-19 Positivity Rate
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam is warning and urging all Virginians especially southwest Virginians to take COVID-19 precautions as the number of cases in rural areas of Virginia continue to climb. Northam made note that neighboring Tennessee is seeing a spike in cases.Northam is also concerned about Southwest Virginia’s positivity rate of nine percent. The Governor went on to say its important to remember what is affecting other regions of the Commnwealth could also affect areas in Southwest Virginia if citizens don’t take personal responsibility.
