Sullivan County Schools asking parents for second semester decision by Nov. 8
Parents in Sullivan County, Tennessee are making decisions about schooling for the second semester following a directive sent out by the county’s central school office.
The notice says schools will operate in two platforms for the period that begins January 4—the Virtual Learning Academy for internet-based students and in-person learning.
The message also noted that the remote choice option will stop at the end of the first semester in December.
Applications must be completed and submitted to the central office by Sunday, Nov. 8. Students who meet specific requirements will be allowed into the virtual academy.
