Virginia, Newest State To Ban No-Knock Warrants, With Sweeping Police Reform Measures

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam on Wednesday advanced police and criminal justice reform by approving sweeping new laws. Governor Northam says the measures represent a tremendous step forward in rebuilding trust between law enforcement and communities. The new laws also permit civilian review boards the authority to issue subpoenas and make binding disciplinary decisions.
