Washington County, TN Schools to continue with virtual learning next Monday

Washington County, TN Schools will continue to operate on a fully remote schedule next Monday.

The school system made that announcement Friday morning, as the district made the decision earlier this week to move all classes online Thursday and Friday.

Students will not attend school next Tuesday due to Election Day, and a called school board meeting will be held Tuesday evening to make a decision on how the system will operate moving forward. The agenda to that meeting can be viewed by clciking here.

Director of School Dr. Bill Flanary told us earlier this week that nearly 900 students and staff were in quarantine due to potential COVID-19 exposure.
