Washington County Virginia Supervisors Warn Citizens To Be Vigilant As COVID-19 Spreads
With a positivity rate well above the ten percent figure that represents a high rate of infection, Washington County Virginia Board of Supervisors are encouraging citizens to continue to be vigilant against the disease as it continues to spread. In a release from the board, supervisors reminded southwest Virginians Governor Northam’s recent warning that restrictions could be put in place if cases continue to rise in the region. The increase in infection in southwest Virginia is attributed to small gatherings and not maintaining the proper social distancing as well as an increase in indoor gatherings.
