Kingsport Christmas Parade Canceled

Kingsport’s annual Christmas Parade, has become the latest holiday event to be canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The event, sponsored by the Downtown Kingsport Association was called off after consultations with local health officials determined the parade was not in the best interest of the health and safety of the community. The Kingsport Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will be held as a virtual event via live stream on Saturday December 5 at six p.m.
