Ballad COVID-19 Positivity Rate Well Above Ten Percent

A COVID-19 positivity rate of ten percent is considered a high level of risk for infection and for the past seven days Ballad Health is reporting a positivity rate of sixteen point eight percent. The health care provider reports a total of 202 patients with COVID-19 in the system’s hospitals and care centers. There are 45 patients in the Intensive Care Unit and other 24 using a ventilator. 54 deaths due to COVID-19 have been reported in the last seven days in the 21 county service area of Ballad Health.
