Sullivan County voters approve two alcohol referendums
Two alcohol related referendums on the ballot for Tuesday’s election were approved by voters in Sullivan County.
One of the referendums was a yes or no question whether to allow alcohol sales and consumption outside the areas of Bristol and Kingsport in the county, as voters approved that measure with a 66% approval.
The other referendum was for Bluff City residents, who voted in favor of permitting retail package stores to sell alcoholic beverages in Bluff City, as it received 73% approval.
