Washington County, TN Schools to continue on 100% virtual learning to Nov. 30
Washington County, TN Schools will stay 100% virtual to Nov. 30 as the system continues to deal with COVID-19.
That decision was approved in a 6-3 vote during a special called meeting of the district’s school board on Tuesday night. Director of Schools Dr. Bill Flanary updated the board during the meeting, stating the system had over 900 students and staff in quarantine or isolation due to COVID-19. The school system shifted to full virtual learning last week.
The board will meet again on Nov. 23 to evaluate COVID-19 numbers and review possible plans for reopening schools for in-person learning on a case by case basis.
