TN, VA lawmakers react to Biden presidency projection

Differing opinions are being voiced from Tennessee and Virginia lawmakers after several national media outlets projected that former VP Joe Biden will become the 46th President of the United States.

VA D-US Sen. Tim Kaine and Mark Warner each took to social media Saturday following those projections for Biden to eclipse the 270 electoral vote mark, with Warner calling for the country to come together and turn attention to getting the COVID-19 pandemic under control, while Kaine congratulated Biden and running mate Kamala Harris.

Meanwhile in TN, R-US Sen. elect Bill Hagerty is backing the legal fight that President Trump and his team are launching who are attempting to contest the results of the election in several key swing states.
