VSP: Two teenagers dead, two injured in Sunday crash
Two teenagers were killed and two were injured following a crash on Sunday morning in Southwest Virginia.
A report from State Police said a pickup truck operated by a 16-year-old from Fries ran off the left side of Route 100 in Carroll County then struck a fence, overturned, and struck a utility pole.
The two victims, a 16-year-old female from Hillsville and a 17-year-old male from Galax, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was transported for medical care of life-threatening injuries. A 15-year-old female passenger received minor injuries and was released.
