Wynn Resorts files for sports betting licenses in Tennessee and Virginia
Another major player in online sports betting is looking for a piece of the market share in Tennessee and Virginia.
Wynn Resorts CEO Matt Maddox announced during a quarterly-earnings briefing that the interactive arm of the company has filed for standalone licenses in those two states that have just entered the betting arena.
Hard Rock International, the co-proprietors of a new casino and resort approved last week by Bristol voters, are also planning a sportsbook inside their facility.
Wynn announced last weekend a joint partnership with NASCAR in a multi-year deal that could establish live betting experiences at tracks like Martinsville and Richmond.
