Virginia Lottery to offer more million dollar prizes in its New Year’s Millionaire Raffle

Four lucky people may become millionaires on New Year’s Day courtesy of the Virginia Lottery’s New Years Millionaire Raffle.

The lottery is offering more chances to win the grand prize this upcoming year as they announced Monday the expansion of available tickets to 500,000 from their normal 275,000 allotment. In addition to four one million dollar tickets, other prizes will include six $100,000 tickets and 500 $500 winning tickets.

Tickets are available across the state at Virginia Lottery retailers at the cost of $20. Winners will be announced on Jan. 1 at 2:00 p.m.
