Documents: Limestone man received steroid material from China, manufactured pills at home
A federal judge has unsealed documents in an anabolic steroids case involving an admitted dealer from Washington County, Tennessee.
Information obtained from US District Court in Greeneville said Brian Edwin Stubbs of Limestone agreed to an arrangement with prosecutors to plead guilty to possession with intent distribute and a weapon charge.
Stubbs would receive product from China and then use an industrial-size pill press located on his property to manufacture the steroids beginning in 2017. Packages containing the illegal substance were intercepted by US customs officials and an informant told a DEA agent about Stubbs’ activities, according to those reports.
He faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine at his sentencing on April 26.
