43 Arrests In Washington County Virginia, As Part Of Operation Wishbone

A multi county, city, and state drug operation has resulted in the arrest of 43 individuals on methamphetamine and weapons charges in Washington County Virginia. Operation Wishbone involved numerous counties and cities throughout southwest Virginia as well as Sullivan County in Tennessee. Sheriff Blake Andes says his department isn’t finished. District Attorney Josh Cumbow says the joint operation was well coordinated. Sheriff Andes also announced a bonus arrest of Savannah Lee Cable who was wanted out of Carter County for a hit and run incident causing serious injuries. The Sheriff’s Department says eleven additional individuals are outstanding and the arrests will continue.
