TN Supreme Court suspends all jury trials again because of the pandemic
Tennessee’s highest court has once again ordered all jury trials to be suspended amid growing cases of COVID-19.
That order was handed down Tuesday by the five justices of the TN Supreme Court to suspend jury trials in the state beginning Nov. 23 through the end of Jan. 31, 2021. The court previously ordered suspension of jury trials from March 13 to early July before easing restrictions.
Mask requirements for all court proceedings have been in place since July 13.
