UPDATE: Sheriff releases name of Elizabethton girl killed in shooting and photo of SUV of potential suspects
A $3,000 reward is now being offered for information related to the Tuesday morning drive-by shooting at an Elizabethton home that killed a 9-year-old girl.
Sheriff Dexter Lunceford’s office on Wednesday afternoon released a surveillance photo of an SUV that his investigators believe was involved in the incident that occurred just before 5:30 am on Blevins Road.
The sheriff’s department also identified the victim as Lillyhanna Davis who died at the hospital following the shooting. The sheriff said that Lillyhanna was asleep on a couch in the front room of the home that was sprayed by gunfire when she was hit by a bullet.
One person of interest in the case was taken into custody on Tuesday.
