Local TN state Reps. Faison, Campbell elected to House GOP leadership roles
Two local Tennessee lawmakers have been selected to House Republican leadership roles.
11th District State Rep. Jeremy Faison, who represents a portion of Greene County, was reelected by his peers to House Republican Caucus Chairman on Tuesday.
3rd District State Rep. Scotty Campbell, who represents Johnson and parts of Carter and Sullivan counties and was elected earlier this month, will also serve in a leadership role as he was elected to the House Majority Assistant Floor Leader.
The Tennessee General Assembly will convene in Nashville for their 2021 session starting Jan. 12.
