Court time for UT Basketball becoming scarce as UT-Martin pulls out of Dec. 9 game in Knoxville
Most teams across college basketball have already started their season despite the pandemic. However, the 13th ranked Tennessee Volunteers have yet to take the court.
The Vols were scheduled to play their first game on Wednesday against UT-Martin but that game has been scrubbed as the Skyhawk program has paused all operations due to NCAA testing protocols following several positive cases being identified.
The Volunteer Classic at Thompson Bolling Arena was also canceled last week because of positive tests within the Big Orange program.
