Washington County Virginia Schools Going Full Virtual
Beginning this Monday, December 7th, all schools in the Washington County Virginia schools system will return to a full, virtual learning format. The decision comes as case numbers in the region continue to climb. Officials with the schools system say the decision was made in consultation with and recommendation by the Virginia Department of Health, and the Mt. Rogers Health District. Superintendent Dr. Brian C. Ratliff in a letter to parents said so far there’s been no within school transmission or school out breaks, the school system has faced the daily challenge of adequately staffing schools.
