Sullivan County Health Department shares COVID risk assessment tool developed by Georgia Tech
The Sullivan County Regional Health Department on Tuesday provided residents with a tool developed by officials at Georgia Tech that can calculate the risk of being infected with COVID based on the number of people in the gathering.
The data posted on their social media platforms said in a gathering of 10 people, the chance of contracting the virus is virtually 50/50, according to information compiled as of Monday.

The higher the number of guests at a holiday event, the higher the chance of someone unknowingly being infected, the table showed. A sample size of 25 people revealed an 81 percent risk.
