Ballad Health Reports December On Pace For Deadliest Month Since Pandemic Began

Ballad Health is reporting 456 In-House deaths since the pandemic began, that’s almost half of the total 21 county service area number of deaths of 958. November was the deadliest month of the pandemic with 142 in house deaths, however, so far in December the hospital is reporting 85 in house deaths putting the health care provider on pace for December to be even worse. The positivity rate for COVID-19 in the 21 county service area of Ballad is now at 24.2 percent as of Wednesday.
