Kingsport Police: Man indicted on eight stalking and harassment charges on allegations he repeatedly contacted victims and put them in fear of their own safety
A Kingsport man has been indicted on eight stalking and harassment charges following a lengthy investigation by Kingsport Police.
Officers arrested Michael Vermillion, 21, last week at his residence, and according to an investigation, police say Vermillion allegedly stalked eight different females using fabricated social media accounts and or called or texted them from a number of different telephone numbers using a fictitious telephone number generating app.
Vermillion is accused of making inappropriate and offensive comments during the communication with the victims, and reportedly put them in fear of their own safety.
He has been released on a $7,500 bond.
