Northeast Tennessee’s Jason Mumpower Being Endorsed For State Comptroller Post

A former Northeast Tennessee State Represenative and current Deputy Commissioner of The Comptroller of the Treasury is being endorsed by the retiring Comptroller. Deputy Comptroller Jason Mumpower is being endorsed by Justin P. Wilson, who is announcing his retirement and says he is also encouraging Mumpower, who served parts of Johnson and Sullivan Counties as a State Represenative before becoming Deputy Comptroller to seek election to the office. Wilson made the announcement and endorsement for Mumpower in a letter to members of the 112 General Assembly which reconvenes in January and will select a replacement for Wilson.
