Number Of COVID Patients Remains Above Three Hundred For Ninth Straight Day At Ballad Facilities

For more than a week now, the number of patients with COVID-19 in Ballad Health facilities hasn’t dropped below three hundred patients. On Thursday Ballad reported 320 patients in the health care provider’s hospitals and nursing homes. While that number is down from Wednesday’s total of 327, the positive rate for COVID 19 cases is also down slightly, but remains at a staggering 23 point eight percent. In the last week 94 patients have died from COVID-19 in the 21 county service area of Ballad Health.
