Rising virus cases forces temporary closure of most Johnson City offices
City Manager Pete Peterson announced Thursday the closure of most Johnson City offices until further notice due to the expanding community spread of COVID-19.
Insuring citizen and staff safety will result in the closures going into effect Friday with the exception of the tax/utility payment lobby and Municipal Court at City Hall as well as Johnson City Juvenile Court.
Offices and services will remain operational with payments and other transactions available online, by email, or by telephone.
