SCSO: Pursuit on Highway 11W ends in suspect shooting self
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect shot himself in a pursuit Thursday morning on Highway 11W.
A news release from the department says Kingsport Police were pursuing a man when the chase entered into Sullivan County, resulting in the sheriff’s office joining. The report says it continued onto Highway 11W and ended near the intersection of JH Fauver Rd, when police say the suspect shot himself and wrecked.
No further information was released and we are working to get an update, and will have that once it becomes available.
