Greene County Man Charged With Stolen Vehicle, Drugs, And Traffic Violations

A Greene County, Tennessee man is jailed on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, drugs and traffic violations. Johnson City Police arrested Andy Shiflet of Mohawk, Tennessee after they observed a vehicle traveling on North State of Franklin that matched the description of a stolen car out of Sevierville, Tennessee. After stopping the vehicle, authorities discovered the car he was driving was indeed stolen. A search also led officers to find approximately a quarter ounce of Methamphetamine. Shiflet is being held in the Washington County, Tennessee Detention Center where he awaits a Monday arraignment.
