Johnson City Schools to begin Spring semester in remote instruction

Johnson City School students will return to class in a remote format when the Spring semester starts on Jan. 5.

School officials announced Friday the decision was due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the community, and families will receive more information next week about specific class schedules. The district also asks that students and or family members who tests positive for COVID-19 over Winter Break to contact them.

The remote learning format will remain in place until further notice.
