Superintendent: Dickenson County Schools to begin Spring semester with virtual classes

Students in Dickenson County, Va will start their Spring semester in remote learning.
The system’s school board approved a learning plan for the second semester earlier this week, that includes the week of Jan. 4-8 completely virtual for all students. Following the virtual week, District Superintendent Haydee Robinson said in-person instruction will resume four days a week with a hybrid schedule using two groups. The first week back will have Wednesday be used as the completely virtual day for all students, and the following week until further notice will have Friday be used for remote instruction.
