Washington County, TN extends mask mandate into Feb. 2021

Washington County, TN’s face covering mandate will continue into 2021.

Mayor Joe Grandy extended the requirement Wednesday following Gov. Bill Lee’s issuing of Executive Order 73 that continues the state’s state of emergency and also allows local mayors the option to issue a mask requirement to mitigate the effects of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The mandate was extended out to match Lee’s Order, which is set to expire Feb. 27.
