Elizabethton Man Arrested After Returning To Scene Of Alleged Crime
Johnson City Police arrest an Elizabethton man on various charges including burglary and drug possession after the man returned to the scene of the crime while police were still there. According to a police report, 22 year old Dakota Sells, allegedly broke into T’s Market on N. Roan Street around three fifteen Sunday morning. When police arrived the store was empty, and a front glass door had been broken out. While police waited for the owner to arrive, Sells approached officers inquiring what was going on. He then left on foot, while the owner and police identified Sells on camera footage. Sells was arrested a short distance away on West Unaka Avenue. Police discovered Sells was in possession of pot,drug paraphernalia and stolen merchandise from the store. Sells was to be arraigned on Monday.
