Single Vehicle Crash Kills One In Smyth County

One person is dead following a single vehicle accident in Smyth County on Monday evening. According to a press release from Virginia State Police, the so far unidentified individual driving a pickup truck ran off the road and hit a church in the 1300 block of Matson Drive. The driver did not survive the crash, which remains under investigation. No one was inside the church at the time of the crash
