The number of patients in Ballad Health Care facilities increased to 330 Wednesday, while the number of patients in the Intensive Care Unit dropped slightly to 74 . But the figure everyone is watching is the astonishingly high positive COVID-19 rate of thirty point four percent. That number is continuing to rise and is one of the highest rates in the state. 71 people have died in the past week from COVID related illnesses at Ballad facilities in the 21 county service area.
