UPDATE: COVID case numbers to keep Washington County, Tennessee School all virtual through Feb. 8
With more than two dozen faculty and staff members out with the coronavirus, Washington County, Tennessee school administrators have decided to keep students on virtual instruction through Feb. 8.
The Board of Education cited continuing virus concerns as a factor in having students remain at home. The hope is more teachers will be able to receive their COVID vaccination during the month of January to build up immunity.
The board will reevaluate case numbers and other data during their session scheduled for Feb. 1.
