ETSU men’s basketball pauses activities, postpones two games due to new COVID case
For the second time in five weeks, officials with East Tennessee State University men’s basketball are having to take a COVID-19 timeout in their 2021 schedule.
A message issued late Monday by ETSU Athletics said all men’s team activities have been paused following a confirmed positive test for coronavirus. That also means the Buccaneers’ scheduled Southern Conference games against VMI and Wofford this week are postponed.
ETSU is currently in a three-way tie for 1st in the conference following a weekend victory over rival UNC-Greensboro.
