Johnson City Police Nab Greeneville Man on Evading Arrest And Other Charges
A Greeneville man is to be arraigned on Tuesday after Johnson City Police arrested him on numerous charges including evading arrest. Police were conducting traffic enforcement on West Market Street when 26 year old Andrew C. Gibson was observed traveling at a high rate of speed and refused to stop when officers attempted a traffic stop. Gibson continued to drive at a high rate of speed…running two red lights. Gibson was finally apprehended by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. It was then officers discovered Gibson was driving on a suspended license. Gibson is charged with evading arrest, reckless driving, speeding and driving on a suspended license.
