Missing person alert issued for Abingdon resident

The Abingdon Police Department announced Wednesday morning that Ally Carver League has been found safe.

Abingdon police issued a missing person alert on Tuesday afternoon for a missing resident of an assisted living facility.

Alison “Ally” Carver League, 54, has been staying at New Horizons at 482 Bradley Street and her last date of contact was Sunday, Jan. 3, according to the APD report.

League is 5 feet 5 inches tall weighing 200 pounds with gray shoulder-length hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. She was last seen wearing a white coat and a white hat.
