Condo fire under investigation in Bristol, VA
An investigation is underway in Bristol, VA following a condo fire Sunday night.
City crews were called to a residence on Old Airport Road around 10:00 p.m where a blaze had spread to two floors in the unit. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but report that water damaged the downstairs portion of the condo and most of the ceiling collapsed, rendering it likely a total loss. No injuries were reported and it is unknown if smoke detectors were working inside the living space.
