Telford man accused by police of supplying man with lethal cocktail of drugs prior to death
A Washington County, Tennessee man has been indicted by a grand jury for a drug-related death in October.
A report from Sheriff Ed Graybeal’s office said William Eric Britton, 50, of Telford was arrested Monday and charged with one count of second-degree murder.
Investigators said Britton had provided drugs to Phillip Riddle, 50, prior to his death. Riddle was found dead at a home on Glaze Road and an autopsy revealed a lethal cocktail of meth and fentanyl in his system.
Officers also found a safe in the floor of Britton’s home that contained a supply of crystal meth with a street value of $49,000 along with $9,700 in cash.
