Cumberland Plateau, LENOWISCO Health Districts moving vaccine clinics to larger facilities starting Wednesday
COVID-19 vaccination clinics for residents ages 75 and older, as well as qualifying individuals in Phase 1a and 1b, will move to larger facilities in two SWVA health districts beginning Wednesday.
The clinics were previously scheduled to be held at individual county health departments in the Cumberland Plateau and LENOWISCO health districts, but interim District Director Dr. Karen Shelton says these clinics will move to a more central location within both districts, that will allow more vaccinations to be able to occur.
Appointments are required, and eligible residents in the two mentioned health districts must call their county health department to schedule an appointment time, and information will be provided to where the vaccine clinics are being held once those appointments are made.
