Inmate At USP Lee Pleads Guilty To Weapon Possession

A prisoner at the United States Penitentiary in Lee County, Virginia pleads guilty to possessing a prison made weapon. 24 year old Juan Fernando Sanchez was caught in possession of a prison made shank that was to be used as a weapon. Sanchez made the plea in Abingdon’s United States District Court and is scheduled for a sentencing hearing on April 13. Sanchez faces a maximum statutory penalty of five years in prison.
