Johnson City man arrested on aggravated statutory rape of a 16-year old female

A Johnson City man is jailed on a aggravated statutory rape charge following an investigation that dates back to 2019.

Police arrested Jerry Lynn Blevins, 40, Wednesday and according to investigators, Blevins admitted to allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a 16-year old juvenile female.

Blevins is being held on a $10,000 bond in the Washington County Detention Center and was set to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
