Sullivan County’s newest SRO: K9 Gary
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office on Friday welcomed a new officer to the force whose assignment will be to help discover and fight the influx of illegal drugs.
Sheriff Jeff Cassidy said K9 Gary and his handler, Deputy Zach Smith, will be assigned to patrol schools within the county and will be an extension of the department’s school resource officers program.
