COVID-19 Cases Approach 500 Thousand In Virginia
COVID-19 cases in Virginia are approaching 500 thousand and there’s been an increase in cases of more than 14 thousand since Friday. That’s according to the Virginia Department of Health. Statewide,the Commonwealth is reporting nearly 21 thousand individuals have been hospitalized. The VDH says that number is underrepresented. More than 2 thousand outbreaks have been reported, resulting in almost 55 thousand of Virginia’s total cases. Of the more than 522 thousand people who been administered the vaccine, only 64 thousand 381 people have been fully vaccinated.
