Gun Control Agenda On Lower Profile In Virginia…But Democrats Have Plans

After taking control of the General Assembly is Richmond last year, Democrats are still looking at avenues to shore up any weak spots in Virginia’s gun control law. Last year, lawmakers lead by Democrats approved expanded background checks, a red flag law and one hand gun a month rule. While this years agenda is of lower profile, there are several significant bills including; background checks at shooting ranges, a gun ban at state capitol grounds, gun bans at polling places and a bill advancing untraceable “ghost guns” or homemade firearms and plastic firearms made with three D printers.
